  • IRISET has signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Vignan 's Institute of Management and Technology for Women, Ghakesar, Hyderabad on 27.11.2025 for introduction of Open Elective and Certification course on Railway Signal Engineering and Automatic Train Protection System – Kavach for the students of B.Tech degree course as part of Capacity Building Program on Kavach.

  • IRISET celebrated its 68th Annual day on 24th November 2025. Shri Sharad Kumar Srivastava,Director General presented the Annual Report. Dr V Narayanan, Chairman, ISRO delivered the Keynote address. Additional Member Signal and Additional Member Telecom from Railway Board and Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, SCR addressed the gathering. Chairman/ISRO and dignitaries on the dias released the Technical Magazine 'Gyandeep". Awards were presented to the toppers of various courses held in the previous year.   • IRISET signed MOU with G Pulla Reddy Engineering College, Karnool on 18.11.2025 for introduction of Open Elective and Certification course on Railway Signal Engineering and Automatic Train Protection System – Kavach for the students of B.Tech degree course as part of Capacity Building Program on Kavach.

  • CoE/IRISET signed a MoU with IIT Hyderabad & SCR to work towards the development of standardized modular interoperable hardware for the indigenous Kavach ATP system on 12.11.25. MoU signed by Prof. G. Narahari Sastry, Dean/IITH; Vijay Serwal, ED/SD/CoE/IRISET and Tej Prakash Agrawal, CSTE/Projects/SCR.

  • Mass singing of Vande Mataram at #IRISET on the inaugural day of 150 years of Vande Mataram Celebrations followed by live telecast of PM address. Around 350 Faculty, trainees and staff participated.

  • Medical camp held at IRISET on 01.11.25 for benefit of faculty, Trainees, Staff and their families. General checkup, BP, GRBS, ECG, physical screening for cancer to ladies carried by Doctors and team of Railway Central Hospital/Lalaguda.

  • Rashtriya Ekta Diwas held at IRISET on 31.10.25. Integrity Pledge administered by Shri Shard Kumar Srivastava, DG. Prior to pledge a Unity Run was organised in which large number of faculty, Staff and Trainees participated.
